Top 10 Jazz Albums Of 2012
I used to think year-end top 10 lists were irrelevant exercises reflecting one man’s opinions. But Patrick Jarenwattananon’s NPR top 10 jazz albums for 2012 drew me in because there is so much music being released these days. If you are not a music journalist or full-time radio host, it is impossible to keep up. So a handful of top 10 lists sending scurrying to hear music that sounds like it would interest me. The comments on Patrick’s list at the bottom of the blog are also worth reading.
