Swinging Jam Session – Peanuts Hucko, Wild Bill Davison, etc…
Bern, Switzerland at the 1986 Bern Jazz Festival is the setting, for this monumental lineup of young and old jamming on “That’s A Plenty”. Trumpeters are Yank Lawson (veteran of the Tommy Dorsey and Bob Crosby bands), Wild Bill Davison (cornet) and Warren Vache; trombonists George Masso and Bill Allred; the reeds are Peanuts Hucko (clarinet), Bob Wilber (soprano) and tenorman Danny Moss; Ralph Sutton is at the piano, Jack Lesberg (bass) and Gus Johnson round out the rhythm section.
