Producer's note:
Programming this set in strict chronological order would have caused a lot of sessions to be separated over different CDs. So we have kept the original albums in sequence and in tact on one disc in most cases (time limits cause spillovers on "The Lonely Hours" and "Star Eyes".. We have constructed the CDs with the arrangers, instrumentation and mood of each session in mind to make the most compatible listening enxperience within a disc.
There are occasional instances of peak distortion as in the trumpet solo of Your're Mine You (Disc 3, track 1) or abrupt changes in sound like echo on the brass section on Them There Eyes (Disc 3, track 21). These aural anomalies are in the original recording.
