Timeless Jazz Photographs
But Each One Available For A Limited Time

With Blue Note, Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff brought the world phenomenal jazz, thanks to their incredible ears. Fortunately, Wolff was blessed with an amazing eye as well.

From the company's inception, he never missed a recording session, and he always brought his Rolleiflex. Crouched behind mic stands, poised at the end of the piano bench, a fly on the wall while the playback rolled, he had exclusive photographic access to many of the most important moments in all of jazz history. They are great historic documents. And represent exceptional photographic talent.

Selected images became the album cover shots for Blue Note's brilliant designer Reid Miles, and are instantly recognized by millions. Now, museum-quality prints in limited editions can be owned forever... But only by a few handfuls of people.

Each image will be made available for one month only. At the end of that month, only the images ordered will be printed and that will be the end of the Limited Edition.

We will be selecting other iconic Francis Wolff images in the coming months.

Each fine art print will be 13" x 19" with an image size of 11"x11", printed using archival pigment inks on 100% acid-free rag paper. Like many photography galleries, we will ship the prints, ready for matting and framing, in a sturdy tube.

We are making these limited prints available for the low price of $250.00.

Please join us in celebrating the unique genius of Francis Wolff, and take advantage of this opportunity to own these very special portraits.

These eight CDs are filled with music that was carefully imagined, deeply felt, and wonderfully executed. The period begins in 1978 with Open Air Suit, hailed for its complexity and for the uncanny way musicians could instantly communicate through improvisation,

“Some of these quartets – particularly with gospel-charged pianist Les McCann-are as ingratiating and ear-friendly as any first-rate straight-ahead jazz you’re likely to hear.” - Jeff Simon, Buffalo News

Oliver Nelson (6 CDs)

“Oliver Nelson was perhaps the greatest jazz orchestrator and composer of the postwar era. This set which contains 15 albums and 100 tracks is a testament to Nelson’s frenetic activity and to the quality of his music” – Will Friedwald, The New York Sun
