Peter Brotzmann - European Avant-Garde Leader
In the ‘60s, Europe proved a haven for avant garde jazz artists such as Cecil Taylor, Albert Ayler, Don Cherry and Archie Shepp. By the ‘70s, a number of original voices emerged throughout Europe.
